I am saddened to say that I no longer support Big Cat Rescue. I urge everyone to please do their research before deciding to support this place. It is a shame because i truly cared for the animals there but i can no longer support an organization that lies and manipulates the public.
True Sanctuaries are NOT open to the public. If BCR is not in it only for the money why be open 6 days a week?
True animal sanctuaries are upfront and honest about the origins of all of their animals.
The cages of BCR are NEVER fully cleaned. Because the volunteers are never allowed to enter the cages the volunteers use a long metal pole to clean the cages. If they can't reach trash or poop with the pole it stays.
