Those hi hats sound amazing too along with snare. the hats sound really nice n crisp and warm, just what I'm looking for.

Would you recommend these for funk & soul music, in a retro sense? I've heard a lot of good things about them.

It has to be said Lennon had an ego the size of nobody's business and comes over in many clips as been very manipulative, I can see why Liam Gallagher idolized him.

All these dvd's are great, but you always see the same people talking/performing in them, ie David Foster, Michael Landau, John Robinson himself and Quincy Jones, it most be a session clique, they don't allow anyone else in to there inner circle of the music.

Too many think you have to read music well to be a good drummer, yes it adds a little more to your craft but its not the be & end all, to be a good drummer first and foremost is to have good feel & ear and of course passion.

@MAW9 I'm exactly the same, I love jazz like cymbals but love more fatter sounding toms.

I know the guy here playing drums and also the the guy that designed the pedal, but could never get into it, but in saying that I'm kinda Right foot bass drum, Left foot hi hat guy, I know boring .
