The original never needed reverb and was much fuller, it truely was the "Wall of Sound". If you lived it, you know it, Back to Mono, the way it was meant to be lisened to.

What a great song, got that gospel sound, with Barbara's easy style of singing, great background vocals and that heavy piano, finishing with those strings, don't get much better.

Not bad for his first song on his new label.

Ahhh This must be the version that was used on the "45s" that played in so many Juck Boxes back about 63/64 , the one that is stuck in my head. :-)

Just so glade I was there when it all started, just never knew how good it was.

It was a time when songs were about young love and not disrespect of the ladies.
