- 88% of UMD students participate in RSOP programs and services
- 80% indicated that RSOP was important in their decision to attend UMD

Additionally, RSOP scored above the national average in satisfaction with programs, hours of operation, cleanliness of facilities and knowledgeable and friendly staff. And we listen we have expanded our hours of operation in our fitness center weekday evenings and weekends by an additional 14 hours a week.
Research shows that campus recreation contributes significantly to recruitment, enrollment, student learning, retention and success.
