Never knew they were on The Hollywood Palace. I saw them years ago and Chuck Barksdale said "Pay attention tonight. Because when we are gone you'll never see our likes again" And he was absolutely right. Incredible.

And when Benny joins them during the breakdown in the song, you still hear the bass but Coe is not even touching his instrument. It's still nice to hear what they would have sounded like live, though.

I think I like the arrangement on this better than the version they ended up releasing.

To the poster who pitied the group for having to lip sync - they didn't on this song at this gig. This is from the Live At The Bitter End collection and they played and sang live and sounded great. For some reason, whoever uploaded this chose to wipe the audio and sync in the record. Too bad.
