There is reasoning behind why Kirk Hammett of Metallica likes D'addarios while Slash likes Ernie Ball strings. Kirk Hammett plays scooped mids with EMG pickups while Slash plays higher mids with Seymour Duncans.

With the modifications that guitar has, I'd say it exceeds any and every Gibson Custom out there.

The Line 6 POD is effective at being a versatile amp for a cheap price (like $300). I even own a Line 6 amp, myself, but I gotta say I really hate the flanger.

It sounds accurate, but it doesn't sound big enough. There's something missing. Maybe the amp settings could have been better. Eh.. the new AFD100 might be better than this mod, but we'll just have to wait and see.

@chooseyourblues Yeah, we should be finding our own tones. The only people who should actually buy this amp are those rich guys that already have a vintage collection. Even in that case, they can probably get closer to the tone this amp offers. Don't be fooled, folks.

Too many idiot commenters totally missed the point of the video. This Chris dude might not be a touring performer, but he demonstrated the amp. If you're watching the video and commenting, you got to see the prototype for this amp head. The video is effective and accomplishes its purpose.

This is a nicely manufactured video. The sucky part is that there is clearly a LOT of editing going on in this video. It's nicer to see talented people who can play it in one shot without screwing up.
