Our mission is to own and operate a "home away from home" for families and their children who come to Lexington for medical treatments and to support health related programs and projects for Kentucky's children.

The Ronald McDonald House in Lexington has accommodated over 20,000 families since its opening in 1984. The families that stay in our 20 rooms are charged $10/night and receive warm meals, transportation to and from all Lexington area hospitals, but most importantly, support from other families. From our large playroom to recently renovated family rooms, our "home away from home" provides families with a comfortable stay during difficult times.
