Rijob.com is the only locally owned and operated Job Board specifically designed to help Rhode Island Businesses and Organizations as well as Rhode Island job seekers. In 2008 our local economy was struggling much like it is right now. We were surprised to learn that the majority of local Job Boards were primarily large business ventures owned by corporations out of state.
We knew that with our unique knowledge of the Rhode Island businesses and the idiosyncrasies of the states workforce, We could make a real difference while saving businesses between 40% and 60% of what they are currently paying. We are confident that we could make job seeker registration easy and still attract top-notch results. Plus, make a real long lasting impact in our business economy and change the Rhode Island business climate.
Our research indicated that the only places listing local jobs were newspapers and large boards. There are only a few struggling newspapers left and very few people are using them anymore. The vast majority of jobseekers are online, and that means everybody, computer programmers to painters, lawnmowers to cooks, entry level to professional level, you name it, theyre online.
