When people are convinced that organized religion causes more trouble than producing benefits, the farther we can move forward as a rational-minded society. Religion is what primitive men in the past used to answer the questions of the universe, and though it was perfectly fine for them, it was subjective and relied on unsound speculation and conjecture. Once man developed the scientific method and a process for building theories founded on facts and evidence and systematic experimentation, religion became obsolete as a means to explain nature. Religious fanatics believe they have all the answers without having to search for them; scientists don't have all the answers but do try to seek them, and in this search we have learned much and will continue to seek answers.
