We support Bill S.978 and applaud the Obama Administration for its tireless commitment to the RIAA and MPAA's right to seek fiscal damages originating from the loss of sales of its member's copyrighted works by the illegal downloading of music, movies and illegal software ("warez") by mass consumers passively engaging in Online Piracy.
Additionally, we encourage and support Obama's latest initiative to stop Internet Piracy through his landmark bill, the "Stop Online Piracy Act" (SOPA) along with his decision to use the tax-payer funded 'Motion Picture & Recording Industry Subsidy Allocation Initiative,' (MPRISA) in effort to offset losses from to Internet piracy, and to help shield the Motion Picture and Recording industries from being affected by economic downturns, resulting in lackluster sales and reductions of consumer spending on movie and music-related product.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is the trade organization that supports and promotes the creative and financial vitality of the major music companies. Its members are the music labels that comprise the most vibrant record industry in the world.
RIAA members create, manufacture and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legitimate recorded music produced and sold in the United States. We are a community driven to clean up YouTube on behalf of record companies worldwide, community-focused and profit-minded, we're a proud part of the multi-billion dollar US recording industry, seeing to protect the profits of those companies who financially support our efforts.
Help us protect copyrighted works and the profits of American companies by reporting YouTube piracy, illegal content and prohibited uploads of copyrighted works, because YOU TOO can help take a bite out of crime!
In support of this mission, we in turn help support RIAA member works, thereby indirectly protecting the intellectual property and First Amendment rights of artists, record companies and independent labels; in addition to conducting consumer, industry and technical research; as well as monitoring state and federal laws, regulations and policies regarding the protection of financial interests for copyright holders everywhere.
We are not your enemy, just because we got you suspended, we didn't brake the law, YOU DID. We only do what any other sane group of socially conscious individuals would do, report criminal and copyright infringement upload activity and let YouTube staff sort it out at its sole discretion. We are not affiliated with YouTube per se, we act simply as YouTube's best ally by aiding and preemptively getting YouTube users content deleted before lawsuits are filed by the copyright holders whose works have been infringed upon.

In anticipation of the expected passage of US Senate Bill HR 3261 (SOPA) and HR 968 (PIPA) which fundamentally changes internet usage under the auspices of the United Nations and the US Federal Government under the Obama Administration, mandatory enforcement of the new YouTube channel layout goes into effect March 1st 2012 as part of an effort to help mitigate infringing video content violations and to reduce liability by YouTube and Google, Inc, resultant to SOPA/PIPA as international law.
