THE TRUTH ABOUT GLASGOW RANGERS
This is an anti-bigotry channel which aims to raise awareness of the issues of sectarian and racist bigotry which exist in Scottish football with a view to its eventual eradication. Its main focus is the historical bigotry of Glasgow Rangers FC and the sectarian and racist behaviour of a significant proportion of its supporters.
For 116 years Rangers operated a sectarian policy of excluding all Catholics from the football club. Due to these sectarian origins Rangers have cultivated a bitter, anti-Catholic, anti-Irish following which over the decades has evolved into an undesirable, uneducated, festering cancer which blights the image of contemporary Scottish society.
Despite recent attempts to distance themselves from sectarianism due to sanctions imposed by the European governing body UEFA, Rangers FC continue to be followed by a support with significant problems regarding hooliganism, anti-Catholic sectarianism and anti-Irish racism which makes a total mockery of so called Scottish "sport".
This poisonous problem has its roots in the home as many are brought-up to become intolerant, insular, hate-filled and shameless bigots. But all decent minded people have had enough and want to see an end to this scourge which has spread through their communities like a disease.
This seems to be a serious social problem affecting Scotland & Northern Ireland where bigotry is endemic and inbred. Trawl back through some Rangers fans' vile comments on this channel and you will see why they are known collectively as "Scotland's Shame".
These bigots are non-thinking, non-educated and socially inept individuals whose minds are entrenched in irrational hatred, programmed to despise all Catholics and the Irish in particular. They are dinosaurs, brought-up to perpetuate wars from centuries in the past that the rest of the world left behind hundreds of years ago. Their frequent boorish behaviour projects a grotesque image of bitter and twisted, low-achieving thugs who live in an ugly world that time forgot.
Outwith Scotland, not much is known about this and that's the way some would like to keep it. But the only way to solve these problems is through openness and transparency. Society would certainly benefit from a willingness to embrace change but unfortunately many Rangers fans seem to wallow in their unenviable distinction of being the most bigoted and offensive in the football world (and officially the most featured on "Crimewatch UK").
It seems that everywhere they go they cause trouble. Look at the UEFA Cup Final of 2008 as an example. They were responsible for mayhem and destruction as England's streets suffered the most violent and chaotic scenes ever witnessed by rioting football fans. They brought terrible shame on the good name of Scottish football fans who have spent years building up an excellent reputation only to have it shattered by the shocking behaviour of the Rangers supporters. However the world is now learning that Rangers fans do not represent what it is to be Scottish. They are viewed by many as brain-dead neanderthals who are unwelcome everywhere they go.
In Spain they were warned by the city fathers of Barcelona to never return such is the level of utter revulsion they generated for the manner in which they disrespected the city's streets. Their disgusting, boozed-up antics showed absolute contempt for a civilised society - urinating in the streets and screaming vile abuse about the Pope in public places simply because they were in a predominantly Catholic country. Shameful.
They continue to regularly act in an undignified and socially unacceptable manner by belting out sectarian and racist bile at every available opportunity because they have been brought-up to hate and despise everyone who does not conform to their bigoted traditions.
They also ridicule the victims of child abuse in order to wind up their rivals because that's the abhorrent and reprehensible level they stoop to in order to try and score points. They are a total embarrassment to Scotland.
These bigoted Rangers fans bring shame on their fellow supporters and cause offence to everyone else. They often proclaim: "WE ARE THE PEOPLE. NO-ONE LIKES US, WE DON'T CARE". That just about sums them up perfectly.

About Me:
The Scottish government has introduced new anti-sectarian legislation which will make it a criminal offence, punishable by up to five years in prison, to indulge in acts of sectarian bigotry in open society or here on the internet. Those responsible for spreading this hatred could be found guilty of a crime in a court of law and may be prosecuted for this by way of a custodial sentence.
I agree with the concept of these new measures despite some supporters being opposed to it. In my view if you are not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about. In relation to songs sung at football grounds, if there is any doubt then don't sing the song if it has nothing to do with football. Politics, religion and old wars have nothing whatsoever to do with sport. These measures will hopefully lead towards a more tolerant society. A place where the bigots will become even further marginalised leading towards their eventual expulsion from society and the eradication of these appalling backward attitudes.
In relation to anti-Catholic and anti-Irish bigotry there has to be a greater focus on this issue because it has strangely become tolerated within Scottish society. Perhaps this is because it's roots were institutional and there is still a great deal of evidence that these attitudes continue to linger in the present day. However this is the dawn of a greater enlightenment and in this era of instantly accessible world-wide communication, such endemic bigotry can no longer continue to fester unchallenged. The eyes of the world are watching and it is becoming increasingly difficult for the perpetrators of bigotry to sweep their deeds under the carpet.
Anti-Catholic sectarianism and anti-Irish racism has been accepted for far too long and now its time for change. We would not accept this problem were it a race issue against Black or Asian people so why should we tolerate it towards the Irish or towards Catholics? Its time to take action against those who are guilty of appalling sectarian insults, those who incite racial hatred and those who send death threats and perpetrate acts of aggression and violence. This behaviour must be stamped out and the time has come to round up those responsible for it and hand them the prison sentences that they so richly deserve.
Sectarian bigotry and racism has no place in a civilised society. If, like me, you wish to see an end to this problem then please ADD & SUBSCRIBE to this channel and show your support by taking a stand against the moronic element who bring shame and embarrassment on our communities.

keep up the good work my friend xS
This page does not go far enough. Its unacceptable to have 50,000 people filling a stadium and every single one of them singing a foul, abusive, racist song about sending people of Irish origin "back home" to Ireland.
This is no different than were it about sending Black people back to Africa or Asian people back to India. Anti-Irish racism has been swept under the carpet for far too long. Raising awareness of this issue is just the start.
Anti-Irish and Anti-Catholic bigotry really needs to be tackled and the new Scottish government is doing the right thing by making it a CRIME. It's the first step towards eradicating this evil from society for ever.
Rangers will lose the tax case.
Whyte will lead them through the administration process and form a new Rangers.
Rangers will lose key players and the league title.
A new board of directors will be appointed with fresh investment.
They will be fast-tracked straight back into the SPL.
JIM BETT lived through the dark days at Rangers and thought they'd been banished by Graeme Souness' revolution. But Bett believes it has now gone full circle. Ally McCoist's struggle to sign quality players is a flashback to John Greig's turbulent time as boss in the early 1980s. As trialists Muslimovic and Jaager had left the club, Bett was reminded of the barren years under Greig and Wallace. It was one of the most unsuccessful periods in the club's history.
He told Record Sport: "What's happening at Rangers now reminds me of the pre-Souness days in the 80s and the club is really struggling now. As well as on the playing side, they have the tax case hanging over them as well. Ally might also have to sell Jelavic, McGregor or Davis and won't be able to get replacements. Celtic will be looking over to Ibrox and thinking what a great opportunity they have of becoming champions this year."
Everything has changed at Rangers since Murray relinquished his shareholding. The likes of John Grieg might never be back at Ibrox and it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see a post tax case Rangers with an entirely new board of directors once Whyte has dealt with a possible administration scenario.
