The RENCI at UNC Asheville Engagement Center is an affiliate of the Renaissance Computing Institute in Chapel Hill, NC. The overall mission is to develop innovative technologies for addressing complex problems. The mission of RENCI at UNC Asheville is to create Decision Support Tools that will address natural hazards, climate change, economic development, and future growth in Western North Carolina. Many of the animations on this site are examples of 3D visualization being used for decision support.
