Cynthia Atkinson has been an active member in the real estate industry since 1987. Upon her graduation from Auburn University, she began her real estate career in Atlanta as a licensed Sales Associate with Northside Realty and later RE/MAX of Buckhead. she worked with the FSLIC/FDIC as the assistant to the Eastern Regional Portfolio Manager, overseeing $700-million in real estate assets.

Cynthia was appointed Manager of Special Assets (Foreclosures/Bankruptcies) for Barnett Bank of Palm Beach County, Florida, where she was responsible for the management, marketing and ultimate sale of the REO (Real Estate Owned) portfolio valued in excess on $22-million.

Later she reentered the Atlanta residential real estate market and was in the Million Dollar Club. In 1999, Cynthia, her husband Dan and their two children moved to Montgomery, where she joined RE/MAX of Montgomery.

Dan Atkinson, local meteorologist for NBC-affiliate WSFA-TV, has been involved in broadcasting, marketing, audio production and the dramatic arts for more than 40 years. He has made significant contributions not only as on-air talent with local stations and on national radio and television networks, but also as a skillful writer, producer and editor.

Whether hosting televised coverage of Atlanta's July 4th "Salute to America" Parade or providing color commentary during a gubernatorial inauguration, whether co-hosting major hurricane coverage on The Weather Channel or bringing to life commercials, talking books, or industrial narrations, Dan's work has always been marked by a unique warmth and professionalism. More than one client has referred to him as simply "...the best."

Dan specializes in selling and listing a variety of real estate properties. He provides outstanding client-counseling, education and service through the arduous task of buying or selling a home. A diverse background in the fields of marketing, advertising, television production and human services has helped mold Dan's unique style that has become the hallmark of a successful real estate career.
