About Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc.
Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc. began its work in 1943 when a small group of Resurrectionist priests and brothers from the midwest came to Alabama to address the needs of the indigent and forgotten. They came to preach the Good News and to meet the spiritual, social, healthcare and educational needs of vulnerable children and adults. Our first campus, literally on the banks of the Alabama River in Montgomery, consisted of several humble multi-use buildings. Today Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South, Inc. is a multifaceted organization enjoying excellent facilities and offering much needed programs in order to resurrect society in the name of the Risen Lord.
