No historical confirmation of the apostles has ever been found...again, they are only mentioned in the Bible, nowhere else. The gospels bearing their name were written by anonymous Greek scribes decades after the supposed death of Jesus. They are written in the third person and none of them claim to be eye witness accounts. They also contradict each other wildly.

There are a few vague references to early Christians from historians such as Tacictus, Seutonius, Pliny the Younger etc. None of them make mention of any Jesus, and none of them would have been alive at the same time as him anyway. The Jospehus passage (the "Testemonium") is a known forgery.
