About Me:

RAHA means Happiness, Joy, Bliss, or Contentment in Swahili and The RAHA Project is a movement dedicated to embracing happiness.   One day our Founder, Dennis Maurice Dumpson, was surfing the web in search of something to lift his spirits. As he searched the Internet he was unable to find a website that was fully dedicated to happiness. He found that there seemed to be greater interest in negative news and sensationalism than uplifting stories. What's more, he went to Twitter and one of the trending topics was "#Sh!+Happens!" o_O He wondered why hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people were embracing this idea that bad things happen...and it's normal & OK? Why isn't #HappinessHappens a cool trend? From there RAHA was born. RAHA serves to be an Internet and Community movement dedicated to sharing happiness, embracing joy, and creating a culture where it's cool to feel on top of the world and not underneath it!   The RAHA Report (Our Blog): 
A place where everyone can share what makes them happy. We've gathered people from across the country to submit blogs about what makes them happy, where they get their RAHA from on a daily basis, and what's the RAHA news in their neck of the woods! Journey to RAHA: 
We will be sharing our first J2R video web series following a young woman who dreams of living her dream of dancing, but has had personal road blocks in her life. We are pairing her with a Life Coach to help her analyze her journey. After 3 weeks of intense internal investigation she is then introduced to a Dance Mentor who who will help her choreograph a routine at the launch of The RAHA Project in October in Philadelphia, PA. But that's not all after her internal makeover we give her a full physical makeover which we will print for a 16-page RAHA magazine that you all will be able to receive at our launch! As we film, this will show her and all of our J2R candidates go on a journey to fulfill their dreams and start living! And we bring it all to you in four inspiring and spirit raising episodes. TUNE IN!  

In many ways this reflects the lifestyle of happiness and you will see RAHA and how it relates to family, fashion, love, food, health & wellness, spirituality, and our daily living! So stay tuned as this site will advance slowly leading up to our big launch party at the Chestnut Club in Philadelphia!
