That is a very common mistake, marine animals do not grow to their enclosure, there growth is actually stunted because very few people can give them an appropriate diet for them to grow to full size and health.

100 gallon? more like 350 minimum

You clearly love your sharks, it would be much better for them though if there was substrate and some rock work, sensory deprivation can't be good for any animal
