The lance didn't need any heroes. The heroes in this game don't use lances. No dragon in this game is killed via use of a dragonlance.

The title of this game fails as badly as the game fails.

It's possible if you try enough doors to find a shrine with a power-up for your "Dart" damage. Eventually you get to the point where instead of throwing darts, you're throwing oblong blobs of red energy that make a funny sound (I called them psycho-sanders, why not).
