Great videos! I just started calligraphy so the information is so valuable. Will you be doing a tutorial on cleaning nibs sometime? That would be awesome.

Thanks for your comment BeLikeWater7! I'm so happy to hear the tutorials have helped you. I had a good chuckle over your confession! My favourite method for cleaning nibs? Don't let them get very dirty by wiping them down frequently with a paper towel. Add water if really gummy. Don't use waterproof inks unless you have to and those require even more dedication in the cleaning! Happy lettering!

Thanks for your tutorials, Suzanne - just what I needed. I'm taking a typography class and I had never used a calligraphy pen (or nibs) before - I think I did everything you mentioned not to do the first time I used my pen in class. But it's all clear now :) I've read about a few different methods for cleaning nibs - what is your preferred method?
