Cattail is excellent tinder for building up to fire. Perhaps cuddling the cattail in a birdnest of wounded dry grass would have allowed you to lift the ignited tinder off the cold moist ground and into the air, for you to blow the ignited embers into fire. Great video. Thanx for sharing.
