Congrats on the italy trip news! As far as vlogging goes, if you're going to be in front of your cam at home, then just be yourself; this is youtube, people WILL LOVE YOU! As far as out and about shooting, I'm working on the same types of footage, but if u have a dslr as i do (canon 60D baby :) ) then a steady mount and a tripod are musts for shooting on the go. Of course, I'm going on the more professional side, so if thats what you're looking for awesome, otherwise there too, get footage of what YOU thought was awesome, and present it in a very biased fashion (you're selling ur vid this way) and dont forget to laugh, love, and learn about the place and culture on cam, we want to know what its like. Give it to us first hand (check out digitalrev vids to see their type of filming... its a good style so try it if you'd like :) ) Hope this helps!
