Hailing from Queens, New York, Jeffery Sanders aka Q-Life was born in New Jersey to the late Carol Sanders. Before he was received into this world he was met with an unusual circumstances in which his mother was incarcerated and was forced to give birth to him while in prison.Unexpectedly his mother passed away at a early age leaving Q-life at a young age of 3yrs old.Unfortanly there was no-one willing to care for him and his other siblings so they all were forced to be separated and placed in different adoptive homes.At a young age there were certain qualities that Q Life possessed which were Rapping and football. When Q-life was in his prime age he was arrested and sentenced to 5yrs in prison for armed robbery. At this time in his life Q Life realized and understood the talent and potential that he had and how it would be affected in a lot of ways if more effort wasn't put forth to further his lifelong goal of becoming the best artist. While serving his sentence Q met his rhyming partner and friend "Shea Davis" they soon formed Only The Family.With all the buzz around New York and the tri-state area Q knew that his music was the most important thing so from then until present he has been constantly pursuing his music career appearing in various notable underground New York based DVD's such as Smack, Hustle hard ,The Product, The Come Up, Grind Hard TV, Whats Hood. He has also opened up for artists such as Memphis Bleek, Mr. Cheeks, and the G's Boys and many more. Life is currently working on his new mixtape entitled" Hood Famous" which is scheduled to be released in December 2010
