If I was a business I would say it is against my religion and morals to pay my associates minimum wage and I don't see how anyone can stop me from doing so by the way these people are talking.

Politicians don't "get things done" anymore. The first thing a republican or democrat does after winning is spend 95% of their time in office raising money for the next election so they can win that one too. This is a job for them, that is all. BTW The other 5% of their time is spent on scandals.
