Designed with safety in mind, the Pursuit Stopper is an easy to use system that can disable a vehicle before a pursuit even begins. During an ongoing pursuit, the Pursuit Stopper system enables law enforcement to remotely disable the perpetrator or impaired driver's vehicle from either the ground and/or the air by helicopter.

Pursuit Stopper works in seconds. This is in stark contrast to OnStar's system which boasts of taking 16 minutes to disable a car stolen on October 20, 2009. Given that statistics show the majority of pursuits end within two to six minutes, every second saved will result in a drastic increase in the number of successful pursuit endings, thereby saving countless lives and valuable resources. More specifically, Pursuit Stopper is a unique, patented system which enables law enforcement (or the like) to remotely and safely stop the engine of a cooperatively-equipped stolen or dangerously operated vehicle. Law enforcement can engage Pursuit Stopper's hand-held device immediately or when it's most propitious by aiming it at the fleeing vehicle. With built-in safety features to prevent mistakes, the device transmits a control signal to a receiver pre-provided in the fleeing vehicle. This initiates an immediate forced, multi-stage slowing down and disabling of said vehicle which can then be handled according to department policy.

Pursuit Stopper does not damage the vehicle, its engine or the electrical system as its technology is not related to microwave, electromagnetic or electrical pulse technology. Neither is it related to GPS.
