Is it just me, or is it actually MORE OFFENSIVE to demand a so-called "mentally challenged" character be written out of a show... It's like saying "Hey! There's something wrong with that kid down the street! Lets either shoot her or lock her in the basement so no one can look at her and get offended!!" WTF?
For the record: I do not view Derpy as mentally challenged. A muffin-obsessed super-ditz, yes; a "retard" no. Derpy participates in EVERYTHING. There's no way she's handicapped.
