DedaMc1958 - I envy you. I truly do. To be new to ANY of the books again.. sigh. I'd love it. Enjoy - and keep us posted about where you are!! :)

Hi Rawkeena - Thanks for the info!! We actually just heard Diana Gabaldon ("Herself!) say it the other day at ComicCon! And yes - it sounded like "Leery". I have NOT heard Gerard B say it but will TOTALLY listen next time I see that movie. I've already seen it once or twice - he's adorable in that film. Thanks!! :)

Hi Tracey and Carol, loved your discussion on exile. Just a note about the pronunciation of Loaghaire. "Herself" mentioned at some early interview that it sounded like "L'heery" Apparently, Diana ("Herself") had noticed the name on a map of Ireland. For a accented sound bite, actor Gerard Butler says the place name in the movie PS I Love You, in the scene where he meets Hilary Swank's character on the road in the park. Thought you would be interested. Linda, Medicine Hat Canada

I am new to the series and am presently reading "Drums in Autumn" . I have read the first 3 books. I have an hour long ride to work everyday, and I am listening to "Outlander" on audiobook. I am learning things listening to the audiobook, that I missed when I read the novel.
