DISCLAIMER: Satire is doubtlessly one of the most effective ways of promoting democracy and the concept of free speech. I would like to reiterate that my videos are not by any means an attempt to undermine or defame any particular political factions.

In countries where democracy is fully-developed, political satire is considered normal and often taken for granted. However, this does not yet seem to be the case in Thailand. Some supporters of ex-PM Thaksin Shinawatra have criticised my 'Maew Rap' saying, "how dare you do this?" or "you're so getting sued!", completely failing to realise that by saying so they are showing just how little they understand the concept freedom of speech.

I would like to remind the said people of how badly former president of the US, George W. Bush was made fun of, not only in his own country, but by the entire planet, in ways far more serious than these silly videos, which are simply collections of short clips, edited together in the wrong order, with music in the background. Nothing could be more harmless.

Therefore, if anyone claims they have been fighting so desperately for "real demorcracy" in Thailand -- as some seem to be doing -- these videos should be taken as prime examples of proper and justified exercise of free speech, a concept that almost always accompanies "real democracy".
