Providence United Holy Church was established in Raleigh, NC in 1882. Our Church believes in salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in Holiness of life, which will lead to separating yourself from the "things" of the world; this separation is what the Bible calls Sanctification. We believe that after one has been saved and sanctified, they are eligible to receive a filling of God's Spirit which the Bible refers to as being filled with the Holy Ghost.

We believe in one God; Omnipotent and Omniscient, who reveals Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that HE is the creator and sustainer of ALL.

We are a warm and welcoming Church, with open hearts and doors to ALL! We are in the process of growth and renewal, following a devistating event that caused a great schism in our Church. God has now blessed us with a dynamic Pastor who works tirelessly and diligenty to restore. Our Pastor, the Reverend Dennis L. Carrington, Jr. has been sent by God to be the repairer of the breach.
