I am fed up of the media telling me Islam is a peaceful religion. The people that say these things should read some history books to learn the facts. They should also read the Quran which is full of hate towards non Muslims. The most evil, barbaric teaching ever written called the Quran contains over 100 verses calling for war, killing and attacking non Muslims. The Quran consists of two conflicting parts Meccan and Medina (gentler and violent). The violent verses are more numerous in number. The Medinan verses supersede (abrogates) the Meccan verses.

"Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them" Quran 9:5

"I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them." Quran 8:12

"O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." Quran 5:51

"Fight the disbelievers and hypocrites. Be harsh with them. They are all going to hell anyway." Quran 9:73

"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." The founder of Islam Muhammad was nothing more than an evil warlord. He used to make up stories about Allah to gain followers to expand his power and reign. We are still feeling the affects of his stories 14 centuries later. Islam has no foundations other than Muhammad's murderous ranting (Quran and Hadith).

Muhammad was a rapist who raped women taken as war booty. A man who murdered thousands of innocent people, a man who tortured people. A robber, a man who had sex with a 9 year old girl and last but not least a slave trader.

The word Islam does not mean peace, it means submission to Allah.

All verses refer to prophet Muhammads second wife of 16 wives called Aisha. Aisha was married to him when she was 6 years old. Then marriage was consummated when she was only 9 years old. Muhammad was over 50 years old at the time.

In contrast Islam(it's entire bloody history),Roman Caesar worship,Atheistic Communism,Atheistic Socialism and the Catholic Church during the inquisition are examples of Faith horribly put to evil uses.Without the boundaries placed on society by the Christian/Jewish faiths humanity would have self destructed into barbarism or a totalitarian society.Either of which would be horrible for humanity as a whole.Atheism does not provide the freedom you think it does.Who do you see as the happier well functioning contributing members of society?Who provides hope for tomorrow?With atheism I see no rules restraining human behavior beyond what a person can get away with and no love for there fellow man.I see huge amounts of anger from atheists at something they claim does not exist.That said,it does not mean that there are not moral atheists.But mob psychology will rule out.History has shown this over and over again.Humanity is horrible at moral behavior unless provided by an outside source.All Jesus said was be nice to each other,learn from your mistakes, make amends to people you wrong,forgive those who wrong you,and people went nuts.They eventually killed him because he was a threat to the established order of things.He was critical of the rulers of his religious system,they had become corrupt and he called them on it publicly.This same freedom to criticize the powers that be without fear of repercussions is one of the founding ethics of western society.When you remove God(of the Bible) from the ruling concept of a nation it falls apart from within.Like the EU is doing now.Bankrupted financially and morally because they followed the models of society suggested by atheism.It doesn't work.
