FWIW not all Pythons are .357. They also made a .38 special only model.

He's shooting split finger, not losing the top, and that bow is either 65% or 80% letoff.

I'm guessing he has it with 65% letoff cams, and with the 75# draw weight has around 25# on his fingers. That's doable, as I too like around 25# or more (the good old days) on my fingers when shooting wheel...

Sometimes the damage event(s) are done well ahead of the failure. So don't assume a bow's breakage the result of what was done immediately beforehand.

A little neglect/abuse here and there can have a cumulative effect.

You need to hang with better shooters running better rifles. My 3 CAR's went under 1 MOA.

I might see a beef with the cartridge choice, esp with vid's stated bullet selection, but saying the cartridge or platform is not accurate enough just isn't true.

Maybe 100 yards offhand is...

Can stone 'em and change springs to make them adjust safely down to decent weights. However, i have seen some "gunsmiths" adjust triggers and barely tap the bbl on the bench and declare them "safe". Idiots. BTW, the new Xmark pro trigger is a piece of shit. I've had several 700...

The law where I hunt states that if a deer goes onto other property and dies the landowner doesn't have to let you retrieve it. A double lung or heart shot deer can go quite a ways in the mere seconds it takes to die. Breaking a shoulder (while hitting the vitals) means the deer...

The scope puts the target and aiming point both in focus (folks might get a better idea of "why" when they get around 40 and need bifocals).

Handgun hunting is fun (took an 8pt again this yr) but scoping them makes them lass "handy".

Long eye relief scopes can be a PITA to get used to, let alon...

Thumb back the hammer with the off hand, you don't reposition your grip that way. When you go hunting you'll soon appreciate the better method.

Actually, wolves have been seen killing multiple deer for no real reason outside of what the scientists thought to be "fun". Domestic cats (and probably wild relatives) have also been observed killing for what looks to be "fun".

Limbs are laminated, just painted over. Attach with 1/4-20 bolts on a Spyder riser, not 5/16-18 like other bows.

While many folks use this method it is by far the one that results in the most damaged bows. Stringer or push/pull (can be dangerous the latter).

Never stepthrough.

Step through method= possibly too much leverage and alignment issues- twist a limb and cause a delam.

You don't see people using that method on Blackwidows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stringer perferred, In a pinch maybe push/pull method, NEVER stepthrough.

It's a newer model, not vintage.

BTW, it is a nice bow. If you are skilled you can fill the holes and try to color match. Kinda tough to get it perfect on old faded green glass. I never could get my '69 Grizzly perfect in 3 tries so said to heck with it and went camo.

I would think a heavier arrow and bow required for true combat.

No doubt somebody on AT will tell you all about how to shoot their correct way :/
