Bible-Believers often self-inflict with a sense that "science" has a monopoly on truth and has "proven" the Bible not only ignorant on science fact, but actually in error when speaking on it. Not so. It is said, "The Bible is not a science book." That may be so. It is a book of mostly history and theology. But where it does speak of science, it has proven not only to be broadly reliable, but in fact hundreds or thousands of years ahead of man's own limited knowledge of his universe. About Dr. Charles Jackson
Dr. Charles Jackson has four degrees in science and education (EdD Sci Ed, Univ of VA, 1994; MS Enviro Bio, George Mason Univ; MEd Sci Ed, GMU; BS Bio, GMU). We have just received word from our contacts on the ground in Iran of an extremely dangerous turn of events for Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. There is an increased likelihood that the Iranian regime will execute Pastor Youcef for his faith.
Pastor Youcef's case had been stalled due to increased international pressure and the Iranian court's request that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, decide Pastor Youcef's fate. Now, because Pastor Youcef has continually refused to give into the regime's demands that he renounce his Christian faith, the likelihood that the Iranian regime will execute him increases by the day.
The situation has not been this dire since we first brought you his story.
