I love to see how really good turners seem to subtly adjust their body mid-turn. You can see she re-adjust by the 6th turn or so. It must be so much fun to be able to turn like that. Alas, I will only do it in my dreams.

"I teach the Russian style" Vaganova just rolled in her grave "same as the Balanchine Nutcraker" I bet the Balanchine trust would disagree. And BTW, not all ballet dancing is about competitions and impressing judges.

It is great that you are starting ballet Silver, I wish you the best of luck. Youtube is full of great ballet videos from great ballet companies like the Bolshoi, Kirov, Paris Opera, and Royal Ballet. I recommend that you watch those videos instead. They are not tutorials like this one, but you w...
