About Me:

Salutations. My name is Hailey, but all my homies call me H-dawg. I was Comet in 4th grade, and Curly Q in 5th. But now, through 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade, I have been known as H-Dawg. So I guess that is who I am.
Prodigious means awesome, except it is awesomer than just saying awesome. So therefore, I chose Prodigious H-dawg as my user name. My homies seem to like it. Well, that is all. Thank you for reading this very invigorating description. I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did writing it.
Hometown:
Seattle, WA
Interests:
I have a very thrilling and rapidly growing bottle cap collection. My favorite ones are from Italian glass water bottles. I also collect doilies, bird nests, rocks, specific types of bread bags, gelato spoons, and animal bones. I enjoy birdwatching, hanging with my cat Mr. Man, riding my scooter, bike, and skateboard, rollerblading, going surfing, swimming, playing futbol, going to parks, going on walks, playing the piano and guitar, working at /going to the zoo, going skiing, playing Capture the Flag, Flashlight Tag, or pretty much any other active game like that, skim-boarding, reading, writing stories, NOT going to school (because it's a huge waste of time and the public education system in this country needs some serious re-forming), making and editing films, writing poetry, making art, traveling, being creative, laughing, visiting my cousins and relatives, playing in the tree house at my grandparent's house in CA (which has a zipline!), acting in plays or movies, getting into mischief with my friends, basically being anywhere there are good friends and cousins, and writing mindless crap on YouTube. I love acting and also going to the theatre (there really is nothing like live theatre!) Some of my favorite places to be are oceanic beaches, Gasworks Park, the WP Zoo, and the Bathhouse swimming area at Greenlake, and I also love wandering the streets of Seattle (especially Wallingford) at night, and especially if it is Summer or if I am with my bestest buddy. I also love frozen yogurt joints. My favorite restaurant is the Rusty Pelican (they have the best bread!) Y tambien aprendo espanol, y me gusta ver videos de espanol en YouTube, porque es una manera divertida aprender!
Movies:
Charlie Bartlett is a great movie; Anton Yelchin is very talented. I also love the t.v. shows Green Acres, Arthur (I love love LOVE Arthur! Such a great show!!!), The Upside Down Show (David and Shane are hilarious!), Curious George, Family Ties, Paranormal State, That '70's Show, Leave It To Beaver (Gee whiz!), The Wonder Years, Glee, Zoboomafoo, and pretty much anything on PBS except for all the stupid new shows that are computer-animated (lame!). I like the movies with Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. I also like Rocky Horror Picture Show, because it has transvestites in it, which are quite interesting. I also really like The Titanic (love Leonardo! And he is a very good actor), Blazing Saddles, Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure, almost every '80's movie I've ever seen, Arthur's Perfect Christmas, When Harry Met Sally, Milk (as in comma Harvey), Forrest Gump, all the home movies my cousins and I have made, Pooh's Grand Adventure, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space, because it is by far the cheeziest movie ever and it is hilarious!
Music:
I love show tunes, and annoy my friends greatly by belting them out at random. But that doesn't annoy them as much as when I sing the Canadian National Anthem. I also like the Kinks, The Beatles, most '50's, 60's, 70's and '80's music (those times are where it's at!), most Michael Jackson songs (and I LOVE his dance moves!), The Beach Boys, The Asylum Street Spankers (they are HILARIOUS), Mika, Glee, and many other random songs from the radio or wherever else I may hear them. Oh, I also really like songs from kiddie shows, like Arthur! The only kinds of music I really don't like are modern country, certain kinds of rap that are not creative and just crude and vulgar, Screamo (I can never understand what in the darn-tootin' they're saying), and certain over-played pop songs that are just un-original and made by ten-year-olds who are trying to act eighteen. But other than that, I love all kinds of music, and I love groovin' out to it, too!
Books:
I love the Lemony Snicket series, because he is quite witty and I love how he thinks. I like other books, too, but if I had to pick a favorite, I'd say it was this. I also really like historical fiction, because you learn while reading, and it's not boring, unlike textbooks, which I want to burn. Other books I have enjoyed reading would be Thunder Cave, Chasing RedBird, The Animal Ark series (when I was younger), the works of David Sedaris (especially The SantaLand Diaries and The Drama Bug), The Time Traveler's Wife, The Secret Life Of Bees, The Orphan Of Ellis Island, Number The Stars, Go Ask Alice, Looking For Alaska, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Al Capone Does My Shirts, Al Capone Shines My Shoes, The Penderwicks, The Catcher In The Rye, Fever 1793, To Kill A Mockingbird, books about life throughout different decades of the 20th century that include images and photographs, Mick Harte Was Here, Flight, Winnie The Pooh...I love so many different books, but this is all I can think of for now. However, I do think that right now in my life, the two books I can relate to the most are The Catcher In The Rye and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, which is part of the reason I love those books so much, besides the fact that they are just great literature to read.
