It was posted in August 2007 when things were very "hot" in Iraq. This is August 2008 and we just had the lowest number of deaths there since the war began. Things are beginning to turn around. The surge has worked. Those of you who have avoided enlisting becasue you were unsure of what we were doing, can now take heart. Go and enlist now because there is still time you can directly help out.

This ad also glosses over another thing about the Vietnam POW experience...while they were being tortured they were subjected to the propaganda of the American anti-war movement...people like John Kerry and Jane Fonda. And yet, they still did not losed their love of America.
