Marijke de Jong is owner of the Frederiksborger-stallion Prince Elmelund.

Prince Elmelund was born 29 april 2005 in Denmark.

When he was two years old, he came to Holland en lived for one year in a group of stallions en geldings.

When he was three years old, his education with Marijke de Jong started. He will be educated in the Academic Art of Riding, the oldest way in European History to educate a horse.

His training started with learning al the basics to live with a human:

- Wearing a halter
- Letting himself lead
- Giving hoofs
- Brushing
- In the trailer
- Wearing a blanket
- Wearing a bare back pad

Also the gymnastic training started:

- Stretching the muscles in de bending
- Stretching the muscels in the upperline
- Stepping under with the inside hindfoot
- Learning the shoulder in and travers at hand
- Learning to walk and trot on the longe
