@abhaybhagwat Well, I am sure they can take anyone from Mohd.Rafi to Kishore Kumar but the music director took Mahendar Kapoor to add the oddity to the song and which gives this song a unique flavor, beside Mahendar Kapoor as per him is student of Mohd Rafi and was good Ghazal type songs.
