Give me a break! I'm judging the cartoon based on the animation studio's shitty track record with X-Men Evolution, a show where many hardcore X-Men fans (you know, those who read the actual comics) were disappointed with due to departing too far from the comic book sources. Reading "some" comics and watching the 90s show as a kid doesn't mean you're the sole authority on stating how others should judge this upcoming series. Maybe this show will impress me, but I highly doubt it.

Yeah, I thought the concept of this was pretty damn smart, not to mention this was an original story, though it has hints of Age of Apocalypse in the storyline. Season 4 definitely reached its peak in terms of great scriptwriting.

Exactly. You're right, David Hemblen who did the voice for Magneto in the 90s series had a polish, sophisticated voice, but it was also sinister, deep, manly, commanding, seasoned and theatrical. Judging from the other clip of this series, the voice actor for that Magneto seems to be doing a third-rate imitation of Ian McKellen. I also agree that while the animation for this series seems "fresh," the 90s series successfully brought the style of artist Jim Lee to the series that still holds up.
