Great effort by Flo, she needed some polishing and refinement but that comes with the experience which she wasn't allowed to accumulate.

Diana has no soul here at all, Flo would have much better. I could see why she eventually lost it with Motown after hearing this.

The supremes were the biggest part of the motown pie in the 60's.

Her voice is better than Diana's but not as unique or pop oriented. The background singers are as good as the Supremes though

Her sister actually mentions in the documentary that she saw her physically abused sometimes, such as having a black eye.. no doubt it was Tommy. Nothing uncommon back then and now but I don't think he was the best fit for her caliber. There were definitely better choices for her around I feel.

Flo was a wonderful singer even though to some this might not be her best. She would have done well for herself had she been a little smarter separating the business from the personal in life.
