About FRUSCIANTE GUITAR SOUNDS
I like guitar players that have attitude, a great tone, and who are creative in a melodic sense. Players that can play a few open-chords and make it sound exciting, or play through any old guitar and amp and make it sound good. A great tone comes from the fingers and right hand attack.
Memorable music is nearly always simple and executed extremely well. The most legendary guitar riffs that have stood the test of time are nearly always very simple - but how many people can play "Start Me Up" as well as Keith Richards?!
You could ask 500 guitarists to play that riff and not many will capture the timing and essence of it.
I know very little about guitars and equipment. I've only owned two shitty little amps throughout my guitar playing days, and two humble Strats. Equipment in general just doesn't interest me, and I really am not educated on the subject to answer questions about equipment.
