I hate to sound like a grump, but that was spectacularly lame. You shouldn't get "cool points" just for randomly referencing a popular geek show like this. It seems like that's become a lazy way to get people saying "AWESOME!"

Fantastic opening to what is sadly a pretty mediocre, sometimes outright dull miniseries.
