I grew up listening to various types of music, but the genre that captured me was Hip Hop. I was fortunate enough to witness the golden era of the likes of; Ultramagnetic MC's, Kool G Rap, Eric B. & Rakim, BDP, etc. If you're not familiar with these cats, then I advise you to check them out on the Tube.

My next love is Classic 80's Soul & Rare Grooves. Still collect this genre on vinyl up to today. Never get tired of playing these tracks.

As I've got older and my interest in a lot of Hip Hop/Rap has dwindled, I've started to listen back to other genres of older music. For example 70's and 80's UK chart music, mainly synth pop. I seem to appreciate the music more than I probably did at the time...
