I just bought a cheap netbook off ebay and don't know if it uses the VIA Unichrome Pro II or the VIA Chrome9... can't seem to find any real specs (Elonex Webbook with 1.6Ghz VIA C7-M CPU).

Even the PS2 version looks and runs much better then this... and it's using hardware from 2001 ;)

I just bought one of these from ebay for £60. Hopefully it should be fine for web browsing, youtube and maybe a bit of portable emulation (Snes, Mega Drive, Amiga etc...).

can't you just use a USB Snes or Saturn pad?

Do you know if the USB Saturn pad will work with any Android based tablet?

These tablets are not very reliable. The CPU has been overclocked and it crashes quite often as a result (probably due to overheating).

@JSprangle It affects all PS3's since they all have the same specs (CPU speed, RAM, graphics etc...). I say keep your Xbox and save up for a PS3 then you will have both (as i do) and get the best of both worlds ;)

@DezuReborn The PS3 has a split 256/256 memory configuration... 256Mb for the GPU and 256Mb for the CPU which cannot be shared. The Xbox 360 has 512Mb of unified RAM which can be shared in any amounts between the CPU and GPU, making it more flexible than the PS3. The X360 also has an extra 10Mb ...

How do you turn off the wireless controllers for this thing? I got this console off ebay for a few quid but the red lights on the controllers continue to flash long after the console has been switched off! Do i have to remove the batteries everytime i finish playing it? Or do they take a long tim...

@606NightCrawler The PS3 version does lag now and then, nothing bad (at least not for me so far) but it's there. The graphics are good but not as sharp or detailed as the X360 and PC versions... I got it for the PS3 as it was cheap and i'm enjoying it so far :)

I was going to get Skyrim for the PC but ended up getting it real cheap for the PS3 instead... Still the same game although the graphics are not as polished, but i care more about the story & gameplay :)

@IHaveNoLimitz Nothing weird about it at all... The Phenom II X6 1100T is 3.3Ghz and the Phenom II X6 1065T is 2.9Ghz. You just have a faster model ;)

@SADE050 Both consoles have great looking games... The Xbox could handle Uncharted 3 graphics as the Xenon GPU is better than the RSX GPU. It would probably be on a few discs though.

@SkiHard234 I've just built my brother a budget gaming rig... It should run Skyrim ok as it runs BF3 just fine :)

@quezcatol This game runs well on ultra settings with my Radeon 6870 (1920x1080 res).

I want to sell my HP Touchsmart 300, but i don't know how much they go for these days. Mine is the model with a triple core AMD Athlon II X3.

How much do these sell for these days? I have the Touchsmart 300 and it never gets used, so i want to sell it.

My XFX Radeon 6870 squeals a bit on Crysis and Call of Pripyat menu screens... It's not healthy as it stresses the VRM's on the graphics card :-/

@mcsonny96 I say make it glass... It'll teach people to get their 'nerd rage' under control when they accidently slit themselves after throwing a CoD fit.

@Tommyleon225 I agree consoles have been holding back PC progress these last few years... But that will most certainly change when the next gen consoles (finally) arrive. The main problem for PC gamers is there's more money to be made from console gaming.

@JADON61598 Yes, the Athlon II X4 645 is better then the X2 265.... It has two extra cores and also uses Hypertransport technology :)

@mikesndbs At the moment i'm tepted to buy the Teac CRH500 with Mission MX1 speakers (all for £399 at Richer Sounds).... I would keep my KEF speakers but they're too big and getting old. As for speaker cable i've got plenty of quality QED stuff that should do the trick :)

That 600W Winpower PSU is absolute trash (i bet it's not even a true 600W unit!). I wouldn't be surprised if it has the same specs as a 'good' 300W PSU... Try upgrading the PSU to at least a 500W unit from a well known brand such as Corsair, XFX, Seasonic, Cooler Master, Antec, Thermaltake, Zalma...

Wow! I must say your brave OC'ing with a motherboard that doesn't have any VRM cooling! And i'm pretty sure that board only uses a 3+1 power phase... All i can say is 'be careful' ;)

@kalimul They would probably mistake it for a a detailed CGI (FMV) clip lol!

This game runs in 720p and the PS3 can't upscale it to 1080p... So how come there's an option to view this video in 1080p?
