This is a schools-friendly version of the "Made Easy" series that takes us from the Big Bang to the human migration out of Africa. In response to requests from teachers, religious references have been expunged from this video.
This series explains the scientific evidence for our origins, from the Big Bang to the human migration out of Africa, in a way that most 7th-graders would understand. It challenges people who believe we were created by a deity 6,000 years ago to confront the evidence instead of ignoring it.
A DVD (including corrections) will be available for schools and educational groups. I alko hope to have a better quality version of the series available for download.
The main purpose of this channel is to explain in simple terms the conclusions of scientific research, and correct some of the unsourced crap we get fed on the Internet.
UPDATE 6 MAY 2012: The assertion put out by wattsupwiththat.com that I refuse to debate Christopher Monckton face-to-face in a neutral venue is, of course, completely false. Unfortunately they refuse to post my message correcting it. So, for the record, I have not received nor rejected a request from Mr. Monckton to a face-to-face debate. In fact, I would love to present his errors to him face to face. I'll put that challenge officially in an upcoming video.

About this user
I've been a journalist for 20 years, 14 years as a science correspondent. My degree is in geology, but while working for a science magazine and several science programs I had to tackle a number of different fields, from quantum physics to microbiology. You'll find a complete resume in the video "Who I Am."
