I like your assessment . Vortex has an incredible voice. This album isn't 'The Sham Mirrors' but then it was never meant to be. It pushes the boundaries of metal in a different way.

I think that metal music is poorer for having a band the caliber of Arcturus not doing what it does best and that is producing music that pushes the boundaries of metal.

Arcturus is the band for you, if you like your bands pushing the boundaries of metal to new heights.

There was something lonely about the whole show, particularly the end of each show when he went on his way. I never wanted him to go. I couldn't understand why anybody wouldn't keep him, or hold onto him with love.

This song is about having the courage to chase your own dreams which can be often a very lonely and deeply personal thing.
