Christmas is traditionally a time of giving and this week Angus helped the Peoples Postcode Lottery uphold this fine custom by delivering a huge cheque to one lucky player in Dunfermline.

Gary Donaldson, a paper deliveryman, answered his door after just finishing a long night shift and was understandably taken aback with his huge prize.

As the news sunk in, Gary and Michelle began to think about how to spend the windfall. Well definitely have a good Christmas, said Gary. But I reckon we could get a decent holiday and a new car with this and still have some to put in the bank!

Michelle agreed with his sentiments, saying: Weve been wanting to go away to Egypt for a while now, perhaps well do that. Im sure itd be a welcome change to this freezing weather!

After a quick toast with champagne chilled by the winter air, Angus was on his way, leaving the couple behind to celebrate their success.

Remember, the Street Prize has now risen to a £30,000 every week all shared by one lucky postcode.
