Swingman 1937 -- I agree that Jimmy had a band that was easier to listen to for me, but to say it was better than TD's is comparing apples and applesauce... TD's music was popular and jazz of the era, Jimmy's was Dixieland or jazz with a distinctly Dixieland flavor. I liked them both.
