Porkbelly Futures is a musical group. They describe their music as north country, born of the blues. They began as a straightforward bar band, emulating the Chicago sound of the great Paul Butterfield, but as they began to write their own music, country influences began creeping 1. They conceived of their new sound as north country because they are Canadian lads, born and bred.
