Goddamitt, this movie was so innocent and sweet and so were the actors. Like all else, they got jaded, sad to say. But Christ they played some nice tunes.

As a kid my Mom used to play this on the piano and she'd sing softly. All of her kids (6) know this by the age of 5. Decades later when I hear it it brings me back.

When I cope to tip a few on 3/17 and get deep into some Irish whiskey I am back to Mom singing this.

What 50 years later or so, and this still is one of the most moving and touching scenes I've ever seen. Perhaps the best movie of all time. It's in my top 3 for sure...

Myrna Loy - the understated pro. What a gem. Audiences 200 years from now will watch as audiences did 50 years before us - in awe of thie gentle, smart and gentle and classic actress. They do not make em like her anymore.

THE best movie, ever. Can any cast of any movie match this? Loy, March, Andrews, Wrights, Russel? No. Never again. The perfect movie that never gets old.

The ole' Chestnut Cabaret. A bit sanitized but fitting that Tommy would play there. Cool that most of his fans from back in the day now had sitters. : ) But the crowd rocked all the same. The clock, for this night anyway, was back to circa 1985-ish. Yeah!

Sick guitar player. A true Philly guy. Thank god he still occasionally plays. A humble genius. Tremendous asset to Philly music.

The best ever. For 25 years I've see Tommy play. I've never seen someone who embodies Philly. And if you are over 45 (like me) then you may remember the Rumbers in their heyday.
