The annual PolyFest dance extravaganza brings together the flavours of the Pacific like never before. 100,000 people, five stages and more than 60 competing schools make up this cultural mecca that is the biggest dance festival of its kind in the world.
It's the ultimate meeting place of Pacific culture that sometimes becomes a pressure cooker as over 60 schools compete for the top trophies.

What was up with that host saying that samoa stole the "maulu ulu & taualuga dance" when clearly evryone knows that Tonga borrowed it from samoa.
That was very insulting to Samoan elders and
was upsetting for most ofthe samoans i know !

- Only one co ed school was shown through out the whole programme ! (AVONDALE)
where's the resssstt !? :O:O:O NOT SAYING IT WAS A BAD JOB, JUST EXCLUDED ALOT OF GOOD SCHOOLS.
(there were approximately 18 co ed schools that performed on the samoan stage for 2008 and quite dissapointing
to only have shown one on t.v ! avondale already received their pride and glory by winning 1st place, the fact that they were the only co ed's shown on tvnz just makes the other schools look like a waste of TIME !)
