My engine makes the same sound! Ive been trying to solve it for ages. Mines a 1.4 ABD spi, but vw none the less and v simmilar I'm sure. Sort of sounds like a diesel doesnt it? Ive tried replacing all the tappets but that hasnt killed the noise. So were saying its a camshaft problem?
